Ellia was 6 months old on cinco de mayo, so we celebrated with $3 burritos at Moe's! I had to take a picture of her with the Moe's sign. I also put her bib on her that I cross-stitched for her just to show that I finally finished it a few days before she was 6 months old. That is sad, but I didn't know if she was a boy or a girl until she was born, and life has been busy since she came! It took awhile to get it finished! The other pictures are from Mother's Day, May 8th. I just want to compare her in this dress to Ellery at the same age in the dress. They sure seem to look a lot alike.

Easter morning pictures before church--Ellia has a dress given to her by a friend from Chile, Isabel. Isabel's friend made the dress. It was considered beautiful by everyone at church!

Ellia's eyes got big watching the others dye eggs, and I had to capture the moment! There is a picture of her Easter basket with plenty of baby-friendly items. Next year maybe she will understand more of all the excitement!

Ellia's newest trick is to sort of spit a bit and scream loud. Tried to capture both on video.

Ellia's first egg hunt was a cold day! She was a bit unhappy after eating which is not like her, so I think her belly was bothering her. She spent some time in the Baby Bjorn which usually makes her happy. So we got this picture of her wearing her Easter bib that Aunt Barbara made when Elan was a baby.

Ellia is five months old! This week we took a few pics on her 5 month old birthday, and she has been learning the Johnny Jump Up, so we decided to put her in it. We also wanted a pic in front of the azaleas, but she isn't as smiley in the outdoors. She has been eating new foods and liking them all--sweet potato, broccoli, green peas, green beans, banana, and applesauce so far. She is doing well with her hands at picking things up, and if we work with her, she might learn to stay sitting up when we put her in the position. We don't spend enough time with her!
